3 swampy guitar forwards, woohoo!!!
G'day for Australia!
This is my first post on the forum and my first forward in a long time. Even thou Ive been a Taxi member for a couple of years I have only just started to figure all this out, thanks to watching Taxi TV : ) I really should been watching it from the start! The songs I had forwarded are:
Fearless Alligator Strut
Hunting Alligators
Sultry Southern Weather
SWAMPY INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by the CEO of a very successful Music Library with a really long track record of great Film, TV, and Advertising placements. They’re on the hunt for well-crafted, Instrumental Cues in All Tempos that are in the same general ballpark as these references: “Swamp Blues (Slide/Bottleneck)” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw7gRASUD4g “Mean Old Thing” by Andrew Kubiszewki https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFBN14fO3S8 “Southern Comfort Slide Guitar Cover” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euFTVlrWZI4 Please give them swampy Instrumental Cues with a real-deal, backwoods vibe, style and sound. Ensemble size can vary; anything from a duo to a full band sound can work for this pitch. Your Cues should stick to a central melodic motif while adding layers of additional instrumentation as they progress. Anything that sounds stiff, synthetic, or MIDI driven won’t work for this pitch. Pieces that would work in any of the “Gator” or “Mountain Men” shows with moods that range from emotionally upbeat to tension-based could work well, but don’t limit yourself to just those! All submissions should be about 1:30 minutes in length, give or take, with non-faded/buttoned endings. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal with a reversion clause. If they don’t get your music placed during a five-year period, all rights revert back to you. You’ll keep 100% of the Writer's share, 50% of any sync fees, and any applicable performance royalties. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share and 50% of any sync fees. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure any material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed to any other Libraries or Catalogs. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this. Please submit as many Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Sunday, September 24th, 2017. TAXI #Y170924SI

I second that request & question - can you post a Soundcloud link, or other location where we can listen to your forwarded tracks?

Actually - there has been a glitch in the system since switching to this new format; it seems to work fine for some, matcreedon wrote:Haha nope, I wonder what my Taxi URL is?

and only take the rest of us to the TAXI homepage.
I imagine you've tried this already - opening your homepage, and highlight/copy/past the URL from that.
You can get a free version of Soundcloud, that limits the total time occupied by your tracks - but the boundary is pretty high; such that you can probably post
up to 50 tracks before you'd need a paid/Pro account.
