Hey y'all!

Happy to be submitting to some listings again. Up until recently I hadn't submitted to any since January of this year. Been super busy with the libraries I'm already with, not that I'm complaining - it's a great problem to have! Anyways I saw this listing come through and I had to submit. I LOVE doing this kind of stuff, and I don't get to do as much of it as I'd like with the libraries I'm with. It's a great change of pace for sure. Anyways, happy to report that I got 4 forwards for this one out of 5 submissions. For my one return I got some great feedback that totally makes sense. Always have more to learn!

DARK AND MOODY ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed for a bunch of $250, NON-Exclusive, Direct-to-Supervisor placements on a top Digital Media Platform. They’re looking for Down-Tempo Instrumental Cues that would fall within the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:

VICE - Inside Taiwan’s Most Notorious Mafia (From 0:00 - 0:40) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0GMS2U66Mc&t=

Please submit well crafted, relatively simple Electronic Instrumental Cues that have a dark and moody tone/vibe. The right Cues will be able to propel a scene forward, while remaining somewhat subtle. Be sure any electronic elements you use sound modern and not dated - those vintage 90's synths probably won't work well for this request. Build your submissions around a central melodic theme and keep it forward-moving by layering electronic elements in and out as your piece progresses.

TAXI Tip: They need a bunch of Cues in this style, and they need them fast, so if you can picture your Cues working in a Vice Documentary (similar to the shows in the references above), don’t be shy about submitting for this opportunity! BTW, this request is NOT for Vice.

All submissions should be at least 30 seconds long, with Non-Faded, Button/Stinger endings. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

The estimated fee for each use is up to $250, depending on the ultimate placement. These will be Non-exclusive, Direct-to-Supervisor placements, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights, plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control the Master and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or on CD.
