Yay, Tom! Congratulations!!! You're very encouraging to me, another user of Freebie VSTs (from reputable companies only)!

Congrats Tom!!..the king of freebie plugins. :D

good luck
Thanks, Andre!

And: 8 since last night. :)

My success rate with a certain major British-German library with seemingly endless placements (for other people, at least) astonishingly is much better than with TAXI. The chillhop-ish track I just got accepted was a 4-times return (previous versions) at TAXI. I am not(!) blaming TAXI and understood the reasons each time. What I say is: You might still find a very good home for an often returned track one day, and every return critique might help you to improve the track. When a library returns it, you usually don't know why, with TAXI you do.

BTW, I still regularly check if a submission of our collab track makes sense when I see listings. Maybe I do a rewrite one day.

Thanks, Marion!

I guess I do prove a certain point here. :) Something - namely a professional sounding song or instrumental track - can be achieved with no money: Free DAW, free VIs, free plugins. I did have to buy an audio interface, sure.

The range of my tracks under contract is from Sound Design, via Chillhop, to Orchestral Hybrid/Classic. Yes, I can count them with two hands, but it is a start. And for me, this is, and will stay, a hobby. 8-)

See you around,
Tom

And a very fun hobby, indeed! It's great when it can get you placements, and that hobby income will probably add up to a nice little nest egg for retirement!

Cheers,
Merry :)
