Hi Ellwood. I like the groove of this. Is it possible to post the lyric for this too? It helps me to read the lyric to make any real detailed feedback. What were you thinking about doing with this one? Didn't know if you had an artist in mind or were leaning toward TV/film. Nice job,

Buc

Hi Lee, flows real well!

Poss Peer2Peer crit from me,
Drums , maybe I would have them a bit drier? (think that is what I mean ) They sound a little verby/set back ?7

Probally a personal taste thing from me though!

Thanks Sedge... now do you think it's room mic reverb tail OR added in reverb plug in is too much???

Hey Elwood,

Great song !
The room mike is a little too prominent to me. The snare is a little lost. A closer drum sound will sit better to me.
The harmony " Lets go to Cider Mill " is a bit pitchy ( flat ) to my ears, also the next line is a little pitchy as well.
It might be a good idea to work out the harmonies on piano or guitar.
The guitars and the Dobro slide sound perfect, especially the Dobro. I love the sound of that thing.

Cheers !
Rich.

ps; Which EZD program is that ? I like the hi hat groove.

Hey Lee, cool tune! This would be a good tune to try out the Americana EZX! I would simplify the drum fill around the 9 sec mark, and the line "kept the fire burning baby" at 2:46 the phrasing sounds a bit awkward. Not that crazy about the organ patch, might be a little too distorted and it sounds a little thin to my ears. Overall, really like the tune and think with some minor tweaks it'll be sounding better.
