ANALOG-Sounding SYNTH TENSION STRINGS INSTRUMENTALS Forward

Post by levelone » Fri Jun 02, 2023 7:24 am

HI Guys,

I had one track forwarded on the listing below:

Track:

https://soundcloud.com/level-one-music/ ... al_sharing

Listing:

Lots of ANALOG-Sounding SYNTH TENSION STRINGS INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an International Music Library with lots of great placements in Film and TV.

This Library is searching for suspenseful Instrumentals (and/or Cues) that could be heard on a playlist with the following examples:

"Hellfire Isn’t A Cult" by Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein

"The Silver Cat Feeds" by Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein

"A War is coming to Hawkins" by Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein

Please submit well-composed Tension Instrumentals (and/or Cues) that feature analog-sounding synths as their primary instrumentation and could sound at home on shows like Stranger Things. Your submissions should have mesmerizing motifs, pulsing rhythms, and plenty of tension building energy. Your arrangements should have dynamics, forward motion, and interest, and your instrumentation should fall in the general wheelhouse of the references – the more your synths sound like actual synths from the '80s, the better. Polished production and high quality virtual sounds or samples are a must, as well.

Your submissions should be roughly 90 Seconds (give or take) long for Cues, and about 2 to 4 minutes long for Instrumentals, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Do not submit any material with unauthorized samples of other artists’ Songs, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so please be sure the Instrumentals and/or Cues you pitch for this opportunity are NOT already signed with any other Companies or Catalogs. Any sync fees will be split 50/50 with the Company. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit as many Instrumentals and/or Cues as you'd like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Monday, May 29th, 2023. TAXI # S230529TH

Hey Paulie,

Very Cool Track! Congrats on your forward as well! I also grew up in this genre..hope that doesn't make us sound old! (lol). This was done with all External synths. I love Omni as well but decided to do it with some analog gear. The main Riff, Melody and Arps are the Novation Peak. The bass and sfx is a Moog Mother 32 and the rhythms and pulses are the Moog DFAM. The only VI's I used was the Arturia Prophit for the pads and U-He Zebra for some impacts.

Very cool! Gotta appreciate the old school effort.

Check out this walkthrough of just some of the Omnisphere Hardware library sounds. And, if you have older gear that is MIDI capable, you can control it with Omnisphere.

Save yourself some trouble and be sure to select "Hardware Library" from the Directory menu drop down at the top left... this filters everything else out. :)
