And If The Ocean...©2004 Sharon Mark(vs1)The world at my fingers...Not sure who I'll meet. When I click on destiny...The connection's bittersweet.Cause now a new loves born...And the world seems so vast.I want so bad to cross it...To be with her at last.(vs2)The ocean holds the hope...Of two hearts in it's hands. In swells of the atlantic...Our love prays for the chance. That someday we can walk...Across it on dry land. We're cautious as we stepFrom safety of the sand.(ch)And if the ocean doesn't part...Know I hold you in my heart.Until love can make a way...To hold the sea's at bay.Until love can make a way...To hold the sea's at bay.(vs3)Oh..If the time is right...These hearts meant to be.Our love will intervene...Then the waters will recede. We'll know there is nothing...That we can't overcome. You'll be mine my lady...Forever we'll be one.(ch)And if the ocean doesn't part...Know I hold you in my heart.Until love can make a way...To hold the sea's at bay.Until love can make a way...To hold the sea's at bay.(outtro)Oh if the ocean doesn't part...Know I hold you in my heart.x2

Hi there, SmileI'm wonderin' what genre this is? (It's a bit more poetic than I'm accustomed to writing, so I thought I'd ask before commenting.)Without knowing that, I'd basically say that I'm not clear about the story. I wonder if it's 2 folks who meet online from 2 different continents... or is it more metaphorical than that? Please excuse my concreteness because it may be clear to others.
