Re: another Bossa Nova
I liked it.... nice and smooth,,, BUT, the a-la's were kind of raw sounding.
In addition...I heard some clashing of chords and bass and something just not right between 20 to 25 seconds in to the song.... I didn't listen much past that point. You should look closely at what you got happening there.
just my opinion.

Re: another Bossa Nova
thanks for listening Hacker....harmony there is BbMaj7#11 to Bb7b9. Dissonant but not out of character for the genre.

Re: another Bossa Nova
Richard,
I think it sounds great. I'm not sure what you changed, but it works; you had my interest all the way through. The piano counter melodies (I think around 1:50), the guitar chordal riffs and melodies around 2:40, both worked very well to keep the tune moving while adding other layers. Great job.

Re: another Bossa Nova
this tune was recently returned by screener #319 with the music box check - which frankly tells me absolutely nothing. It should be noted that this same screener forwarded an earlier version of this tune for the same listing. then another screener returned it with the music box checked.
