Anthemic instrumentation?

Post by melodea » Sat Feb 20, 2021 4:46 am

What do you think an "anthemic instrumentation" for a HipHop instrumental should be? I think I shouldn't mix it up with cinematic or symphonic instrumentation right? Thanks for any tipps!

Are there reference tracks ? What do they use ? Off the top of my head I would have said low marcato style brass riffs tend to sound anthemic

I listend to the exemps again. What they have in common ist: acidy sounds, Big claps, Symphonic Percussion, one could've come right out of a transformer movie. I think I get it!
