At my song limit?!?!

At my song limit?!?!

Trying to upload three songs for tonight and I'm told I'm 'at my limit' and can't upload anything.

Doesn't say what my 'limit' is, and I'm only given the choice of deleting three songs at a time, some of which are 'forwards' and my still be in play.

So, I'm locked out.

This happen to anyone else?

After a few deletions, I only have 9 songs on my page.

Frustrated here!

Yes, that's happened to me and I've had to delete songs in order to upload new ones for submission. Anything forwarded has already gone to the client, so no worries about that, and you will still see the results in your submission history. I'm not sure of the actual number of songs we're allowed, I thought it was 50 but could be wrong....

Ugh. Not a happy camper today.

Been with Taxi a year, never saw this happen. I upgraded to Dispatch yesterday so I figured it messed with my account somehow.

Are we supposed to make the songs 'downloadable'?

It may have gone to the client, but if they haven't listened to it yet...? Do they listen to the linked file, or does Taxi download a copy to send somehow?

No, the mp3 you provided to the client has been put on a CD with the other forwards and sent to the listing client for review. If they like one or more of the tracks they will contact the writer to offer a contract. At that time they will tell you how to deliver the music. It's usually some kind of an upload of a wav or aiff.

Great, thanks for the info.

At any rate I was baffled by the sudden restriction and the confusing way it was supposed to be addressed. I'm going to see if staff can cut me some slack here.

Mike, have you tried uploading again today?
All day yesterday I couldn't access the taximusic.com sight to login (wanted to upload tunes)

I checked this morning and still was getting the message that I was over my limit. I'll test it again tonight (yes, I still have a day job!)

It was a problem with my account "authorizations", they've fixed it and made it right for me.
