Avid Omni and Pro Tools 9 Native

Post by Mike Barresi » Fri Dec 17, 2010 8:30 am

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone heard anything or have any experience with the Avid Omni and Pro Tools Native systems? I looking into to building a small but powerful home studio. I have the computer and several sample libraries already, now I'm looking at the DAW and i/o converter.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
MIKE

If you like Pro Tools I don't see how you can go wrong, I would love that system! If you do alot of midi I hear Logic or Digital Performer are more friendly programs to deal with but I've also heard that since version 8 PT has gotten much more midi friendly. I'm still at 7.4 with an 003 but it's great for my purposes, much more than i could ask for.
