This is an interesting venture. Neat concept behind the album with some great song titles that instantly arouse interest. That's a pretty neat lyric posted too.

I honestly don't feel like this project is really worth working on, but you have a GREAT ear for pop. And I don't say that lightly.

If I were you, I'd start listening to Top 40 every day on spotify. Your production and writing on F'ed up was great, but it sounded SLIGHTLY outdated, like maybe something from 2013. If you had better production, though, you'd be great.

I have an instrumental from Mantra that sounds pretty tight.. If you come up with something to write over it, I can sing/mix vocals or we could get someone else..
Here's the link to the instrumental:

I listened to the track. I'm not feeling it. Besides, that whole mustard 'snap type' vibe is played out. Even DJ Mustard has moved on from it.
When I said "it's not worth working on" I didn't mean it was a bad idea; I just feel like singles are a better way to put music out a lot of the time. Every time I put out an album, no one listens to any but one or two songs. I've seen the same thing happen to artists that were actually popular, too.

But yeah, you're right that track isn't really a winner; I honestly hadn't listened to it in a while. Anyways I bought a couple of tracks in bulk a while ago from him and haven't used them all..

Here are the other few if you wanna take a listen and if you like one we could work together:

This one's more accoustic

This one's a bit more modern. Might be hard to write to.

This is a different style.

Come up with a section or idea and I can add to it or tweak it.

iLLa, do you plan on pitching this project as an album or individual tracks? It's a dope concept, especially if you can peak interest enough for an artist to take the whole tracklist as you've presented it here. You may have more success and potential opportunities pitching the individual tracks. More eggs spread out into numerous baskets. Just my opinion. Either way, mad love and respect.

Where are you located? I'm in South Florida, always down to collab and co-write with other lyricists.

Fellow yardie right here! Raised on dancehall and soca. REAL dancehall, not the watered down Sean Paul radio music. Soundclash.....Dubplates....Beenie vs Bounty....that's my era. If you're ever trying to toss some lines back and forth I'm down.

Respect.
