At one of the Mentor lunches, using bandcamp to showcase/sell songs (singles, or more than one at a time) came up as a suggested outlet.
QUESTIONS:
Did you read the entire text of the terms of agreement before you agreed to them? (who really reads all that stuff? other than a lawyer's assistant?)
Are you certain you did not encumber your tracks for future use in a licensing deal or with a library/publisher?
What else did you do to promote your music via this site?
In advance, thanks.

Re: Bandcamp? QUESTIONS for users of it
Yo Peter! I'm just chiming in here to tell ya I've got nothing, haha. I've never used Bandcamp, and don't know the first thing about it. I do know a handful of people locally who use that service, but am not sure I know of many Taxi folks who use it.
Personally - aside from the few CD's from my college years that are still for sale on CD Baby - I've only got one song that is purchasable by the general public. I used a site called "Sellfy" for it (http://www.sellfy.com). They let you sell digital products and assign your own price. Can't remember what their cut of the pie is though.... I think they cater primarily to tangible goods & the home-based retail business model, but you can put music on their too. And from what I remember, since they're not a music-specific site, there aren't any contractual problems with music libraries. Here's how it looks for my one song: https://sellfy.com/p/kuey/
Just another option to consider, if nothing else.
