Beat Producer's Procrastination in 2024 With Special Guest, Matt Vander Boegh On This Week’s TAXI TV!

7 pm Eastern (EST) / 6 pm Central (CST) / 4 pm Pacific (PST) 12 am London (GMT) / 11 am Sydney (AEDT)

Dear Songwriters, Composers, Producers, and Artists,

TAXI member Matt Vander Boegh’s music plays somewhere in the world every hour of every day. His accomplishments have inspired his fellow TAXI members to quit making excuses, get busy, and become more productive.

How productive is Matt?

In 13 years, he’s amassed a staggering 25,000+ placements on over 900 TV programs, including various major sporting events, Hollywood movies, high-profile reality TV shows, soap operas, commercials, and daytime & evening talk shows. He has nearly 5,000 cues and hundreds of full-length songs signed to many high-end production music libraries.

From Tribulations to Triumph!

Matt experienced some epic failures when he was starting out. Most composers would have walked away from music, but not him. Although he could have stuck with being a college professor and earned a comfortable living, he challenged himself to become a highly successful media composer.

Today, Matt earns what some would call a “more comfortable income” doing what he truly loves—creating music!

Loved the show Dr. Matt! Your enthusiasm is infectious! And that’s a good kind of infection! 😂 I like the idea of setting a goal of X number of tracks per year divided by 50. I am the kind of guy that does well with a goal and a checklist.

Fun episode. Interesting to hear where the inspiration for " The Shed " originated

Thanks to everyone for watching and commenting here and in the chatroom. I was unable to see any of the live chat during the broadcast, as I was in a back-end video room and didn't have access to the actual stream. But I've since watched the replay and read all the live banter and chat that was happening during our conversation. Very fun!

Cheers to a successful 2024 for everyone! Set those goals high, but attainable. Push yourself hard, but not to the point you become discouraged if you start falling behind. And just remember that any forward motion is a step in the right direction.

Dude, Peter, I have NO idea how or why Boise State ended up with the MW trophy this year. Our season was disappointing from the opening drive of the opening game. There were a few glimmers of hope along the way, but overall this year was a complete bust. And honestly, I didn't watch a single game in its entirety, and - thanks the the incredibly stupid TV deal BSU signed for the payday - most of the games were on a channel I didn't get, so I had to listen to radio broadcasts instead, and don't think I really missed much!

Here's hoping your Aztecs can put up some basketball magic this year!

~~Matt
