Bluegrass/Gospel - in development
Inspired by the group at Summergrass 2018 - the boys in the matching lime green 3-piece polyester suits, black string ties, and tilted cowboy hats...
I went home and tried to put one together... me and a few friends been tinkering with this one:

Hi Peter
This is a great tune! not quite my genre but I can appreciate the hard work and talent that went into this one. I can see this used in a number of places for film and TV. Nice work all around.

Sweet tune. Got some fine bluegrass musos on this track.
My only thoughts are, the backing vocals don't quite cut through against the lead vocal and band. Try E.Q'ing them a bit different so they find their own frequency range.
The backing vocals might also want some pitch correct on them so they gell together a little tighter.
I love the style. Fun to listen to and fun to play.

Yeah - those vocals are only 'guide tracks'/scratch vocals for placement & structure sake.GuitarKit wrote:Sweet tune. Got some fine bluegrass musos on this track.

I doubt any of them will be in the final mix. My next task is to find some proper vocalists for this style.
Thanks for the ears & comments.
