Wow Ern!!I like it! I totally bought into the composition all the way until after 5:29. The chromatic arpeggios were too mechanical for me. I'm new to orchestral writing so my opinion is only from a listener's point of view. Anyway, I was amazed and pleased all the way until the ending. Good job!Congrats!-Allen

I noticed today a message on broadjam, when I was trying to reach the taxi section, that said something along the lines that Taxi is terminating its cooperation with Broadjam. But just a minute ago in trying to get that message again, it was gone.Is there someone who's got more information on this?

Thanks for your comments, everyone (those who COULD listen!) About 2/3 of those on the Northern Sounds forum got it to play. Not good enough. Broadjam is going to get an earful today.Allen, that chromatic passage near the end is really hard to make sound realistic. Midi composers always complain about the "machine gun effect," and spend alot of time to work around it. I KNOW it can be played by real players, which is my ultimate intention (this is just a demo), so I said "screw it" and just let it go. Glad you enjoyed the rest of it!Problems with Broadjam? 608-271-3633 11 - 3 CT.I still think they're out ice fishing, grilling their brats and drinking Milwaukee's Best. Ern

My BJ is working again too. I got an email back that says... "Our streaming provider was having some technical difficulties. The streamingproblems have been resolved on the Broadjam website now. If your songs arestill not streaming properly please send us your artist name and the songtitles and we will investigate further. We apologize for any inconveniencethis may have caused."

But just a minute ago in trying to get that message again, it was gone.Is there someone who's got more information on this?I saw it when I clicked on the Taxi link at the bottom of the websiteQuote:At TAXI's request, Broadjam is no longer offering new and renewing TAXI members the ability to submit songs to TAXI listings through Broadjam's online submission mechanism. Current members of TAXI and Broadjam will be able to use Broadjam's online submission mechanism until either their Broadjam account or their TAXI account expires, regardless of which expires first.Once I logged in it was not there anymore. it goes on to read...Quote:If you are affected by this change, please contact TAXI directly for more information regarding online song submissions to TAXI listings. You can reach them at 1-800-458-2111 or through the contact page on www.taxi.com.I logged out and coudl see it again. looks like it only affects submissions.

Wow, great work Ern. The semitones at the end don't bug me as much as the snare being in perfect time with them. Maybe offset the snare 15 ms, a little more reverb on it. Sounds fantastic all around tho. OK, then who has started uploading to the new Taxi music site?Is there going to be a deadline to have the transfer complete? I would hate to get a nasty surprise that all of my tracks have to be re-uploaded in the nex 2 days.Jimi, when is all this going to transpire, and does Taxi have any plans to automatically upload BJ files and song data?steve

perhaps, some of you have the same habit I do of having 10 URL sites and maybe 2 BJ players open at the same time. When I closed the other BJ players, (leaving only one still open) everything seemed to work.duh, my bad

Great piece! Execllent use of the library. Very nice compositionally. I had no problems whatsoever playing this back. I'm not seeing any messages regarding TAXI. I'm a PRO member and have my hosting with them. I wonder if that makes a difference?Keep up the great work, I'll be back to hear more Mazz
