Anyways, Aub Delane is right, there is a right-click context menu where you can disable the plugin.Right-click the plugin, and the menu appears - or should, anyways...Hepha Luemp

I don't use pro tools. I looked it up and this is how I understand it. Hold down the Control and Start keys (one with a windows icon on it). Then click on the plugin in the mixer to deactivate all along that strip.

Yes, but that takes 3 hands, and 17 fingers to do. You must also stick your tongue out at a 48 degree angle.

Re: Building a studio computer
Remember that discussion about making a track inactive (including plug-ins)? All those keyboard commands didn't work for some reason. Figuring it out has taken time (that's why I rarely post these days). In Pro Tools Mix Window at the bottom of each track's Channel strip, is a small Icon that makes a track active or inactive. Simple, huh?I'm making progress, right? Thanks to all my Taxi forum advisers.Nomi
