Ok, I am not the most "net sociable" person. I dont have a myspace, just recently went to facebook ( I am still lost there). Can someone explain what is reverbnation exactly? what do you get from an account there?

Reverb Nation is a site that has free tools that you can use to promote your music. Just go to their website and create an account and then poke around a bit. To me, its biggest plus is that it has created web widgets for all its features, so that you can copy and paste them into almost any other website, like facebook and myspace and your web site, etc. So if you go that route, its one single place that you can manage that pushes that content out to where ever you want it to go. And it's got really good tracking features, so you can see some interesting reports on who's listening, where they're listening from, where your fans are located...And once they hook you, they have some pretty nice pay features that help with promoting yourself.B
