CD submissions

Post by dognpony » Wed Feb 24, 2021 5:45 pm

Sometimes a listing will indicate that a composer can submit via a CD. Does this mean we can submit multiple cues, trailers, etc on one CD? If so, do we send this to them to the TAXI address via snail mail and what would be the submission fee? Anyone have info on this?

Yes - same fee...$5 per track

This is just a throwback to the olden days when it was all done via snail mail. I guess there are still remote places with no internet - but then how would you read the listings ?

And with first class mail the way it is today, you'd need to mail the CD before the listing even drops. So it's not important to have internet - just ESP - if you submit that way :P

How would you pay the $5 if you don't submit electronically - is that even possible?

And then, would you have to create the infamous "burrito"?

Tom
For cassettes you have burritos. For CDs, you have nachos :P
