They are on my TAXI page, identified by "8-bit."

All of these tracks have been forwarded on a prior listing.

Cheers!

Cool, I'll check them out! So far I haven't gotten any phrases from the screeners other than "it wasn't right on target". Thanks for sharing.

Edit - oh, you have to actually click the listing in the email and read the feedback!

Mine was "a little too busy for this game".

My submission was returned as too fast for the scenes. Very surprising as I used an average tempo of the sample songs. But so it goes. I'm starting to think of it takes too long for them to review that they just send some random BS back to let you down.

Yeah not sure what taking a long time means -- maybe they just took a while to decide. I recently had a cue take a long time to come back with the reasoning that my drum programming could have been more creative, so maybe everything else was... close?

About "tempo" -- I've learned over the years that it's very common for people to use the word tempo to describe energy level.

I'm not saying your track didn't match the "energy level" of the a la's!

But maybe it's not just random BS and instead meant to imply that they were looking for something that sat more in the background. (More than either of our submissions!)

When I listened to yours I kept paying attention to whether the key was changing ... basically, I was sort of thinking: are there accidentals being introduced? Which key are they from? Where are we leading to? I'm not even sure this is happening in your piece, it's just something I remember thinking, in the background of my mind, and I'm putting musical words to my listening experience.

I could be over-analyzing the reviewer's comment, but I'm also trying to be encouraging.

Meaning: maybe the reviewer was using the simple word "tempo" to say that they kept getting little tugs to pay attention to the notes, when instead they were looking for something that allowed them to concentrate on the VR game experience a little more and "space out" a bit more?

I've had a beer tonight, so I might just be babbling, too!
