Hi everyone,
I'm starting to prepare songs in collaboration with another musician.
Oriented to music production libraries.
He is registered with SGAE (Spanish P.R.O) and I am in BMI.
Can it be problematic in the future?
If two people appear as co-authors, may some libraries reject songs for that reason?
Co-authors in different P.R.O. Could it be problematic?

The IPI number is recognised by all PROs, though

No, this will not be problematic because every PRO will provide you with an IPI/CAE # (not to be confused with your PRO membership #). As long as you both have that you'll be fine, regardless of the PRO.

To my understanding its actually an interesting test - two writers of the same song with different PRO's comparing to see which of them made the most money. It's never exactly the same.
