Cocktail Jazz
Original COCKTAIL JAZZ INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a prominent Music Library with a long track record of great placements in Film and TV! They want some authentic-sounding Cocktail Jazz Instrumental Cues in a wide range of Tempos and Styles. Please listen to the following references to get an idea of the range of what could work for this pitch:
“Lounge Scene” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoSrdvSR-Xk
Jazz Piano Bar Music Compilation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhUuEUj2zWk
“Here’s That Rainy Day” by Dorothy Donegan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmqu9PNerSU
Here's one I'm working on for this listing. It's called "Last Call"

Feedback is welcome!
Thank you,

Re: Cocktail Jazz
Hi Louise,
I think you're mostly there! 2 small things occurred to me...
1. occasional "stickyness" of the sustain pedal at:28 and 2:06- the sixteenth note figure - but well played at 3:31!!
2. the way I like to hear jazz is to hear it occasionally play behind the beat a bit-not always- but I hear this from the piano side playing pretty much on the beat.. so maybe a consideration...
Lots to like here though... nice tune, great piano voicings, nice upright following the piano..- it's a keeper to submit- but does the listing call for 4+minutes? if not I might cut it down a bit,,
Hope that helps- it just my .02
John
