Hi all,
I only joined last weekend, but will have a submission ready for tomorrow (which is the deadline).
Are there any things I should prepare in advance of the submitting process or common errors that people make?
I like to be organised and would hate to get to the end and realise I should have uploaded or prepared an avatar/profile image/meta data/track image etc.
Many thanks,
Dex

No doubt there are some admin things that others might mention, but they won't really matter if the music isn't right. I hope it doesn't sound patronising to say these things (and there are probably a few others I've missed out), but check that:
- the deadline hasn't expired
- the music is a good fit with what's asked for in the listing, and doesn't sound out of place alongside the reference tracks provided
- track length matches what the listing asks for
- you have the agreement of all co-writers with agreed splits, and 'work for hire' agreements signed by any other contributors
- there are no unlawful samples
- you have an alternative 'clean' version if there's any profanity
- the mix is broadcast quality and at a competitive level
- the music is not already under any agreement that would preclude further licensing
- tracks have an appropriate titles that help describe their style or potential use
- there's no big silence at the start or end, but the end doesn't chop off any final ring-out
- you're already a member of a PRO in case your music is forwarded and a library offers to license it
- you have basic knowledge of contracts in case you're offered one.
Its not an exhaustive checklist, but its a start. Good luck with your submissions.

Thanks for the reminders Graham!
I like a good checklist, and that is really helpful.
