Hi guys!
I recently pitched a pop track to a youtube artist, they liked it and the management got back to me and asked for my terms in regards to payment and splits.
I must admit that I don't have any clue at all in negotiating with a management directly, as my songs usually pass through a publisher / label.
Any rules of thumb I need to consider? What could a typical deal look like ? Any other advices?
Would appreciate your expertise a lot!! Hoping to hear from you,
Fab

Re: Deal structure with Youtube artist
if you think you have a song that could really go somewhere with that artist, you might wanna ask a music industry attorney for advice. taxi seems to be more about film and tv stuff, that's probably why you have had so many views, but no replies
