Dean Krippaehne's Classes (Presentation Deck PDF)
Hey all y'all who may have attended one of my classes at the Rally.
As promised, here is a link to the Presentation Deck for each.
http://www.deankrippaehne.net/
....just click on the web site's "Media" page, scroll down to "workshops" and there they be.
Although I didn't get to hang much this year (I spent the evenings up in my room, icing a stupid injured foot and popping NSAIDS), it was absolutely great to see you all again. Best family reunion ever! And huge applause to Michael Laskow and his incredible staff for once again putting on the best music conference in the world.
Well done indeed!

Thanks Dean,
I enjoyed your reverse engineering workshop. I just visited your site and the pdf for Demystifying works, but the reverse engineering pdf did not open.
Thanks Again!

If you can't get it to open there - try this link:
http://www.angelfire.com/id2/cafe/Taxi2015.html
It's an old page from last year's rally that I have updated with the new material.
If for some reason it still doesn't work for you, send me a message (deankripp@aol.com) and I'll email the pdf. (If you email me be sure to put "TAXI" in the subject line so it doesn't get inadvertently deleted)

Re: Dean Krippaehne's Classes (Presentation Deck PDF)
Hi Dean!
I found out about your new book, Demystifying the Genre, just before the rally. I put it on my kindle and loaded the sample cues to my phone.
While flying from Charlotte to the rally on Thursday, I read the whole book and listened to the examples.
Arriving at LAX, I was amazed to bump into you at baggage claim. We even rode the same shuttle over to the Weston.
The next morning I had a great seat for your presentation in the ballroom.
I learned so much from that experience (and from everything at the rally) that I feel much better prepared to write some good cues.
I can't thank you enough! How lucky am I?

Thanks Mike and Dan,
One of the reasons I love the Taxi Rally family so much is that they are all givers. Everyone helping and supporting everyone.
And that old saying, "a rising tide lifts all boats" is never more apropos than when applied to Rally attendees.
Can't wait til next year

Ahhhh dang, Dean, you were there? I wanted to find you and hear your thoughts on the Huskies this year (wow!). And also tell you that I used your "Demystifying the Cue" book for a music workshop I taught through Boise State over the summer. You might have noticed a modest spike of about 10-15 book sales in Boise, haha. Nothing to get rich on, by those sales were to my students who have since told me they really enjoyed the read.
Hope you're doing good.

Hey Matt..... sorry i missed you at the Rally. I missed a lot of members this year as i spent most of my time up in my room in a NSAID coma, icing a foot injury.... but cool to hear that you used my book in your workshop Sweet.Dean, you were there? Hi Dean,
I just wanted to say that your presentations at the Taxi Road Rally were my favorite and most pertinent to what I want to achieve. Thank you so much for giving so much knowledge both at the Rally and in your books.
Sincerely,
Jeff Lizerbram
