Deep House listing S200803WM

Post by pveniot » Wed Jul 22, 2020 1:28 am

Hi all, here's my pitch for this listing

Several HAPPY DEEP HOUSE INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a great Music Library with International Distribution and lots of success in Film and TV placements.
They’re looking for quite a few CONTEMPORARY, Mid-To-Up-Tempo Instrumentals in the stylistic ballpark of the following references we got from the client:
“Lazers And Strobes” by Julian Anthony, Adrian Napolitano & Sheryl Lucy Simpson
“Black Horse” by Julian Anthony, Adrian Napolitano & Sheryl Lucy Simpson

Any comments appreciated, providing you have any experience in that style ;-)
Enjoy!

Stay safe
Pierre

To my ears, it doesn't sound "happy" enough. The backing groove is very cool, but the top sounds you are using are more ambient than happy. I did enjoy this track very much...I'm just not sure it fits the listing.

Thanks Jeff, well we may have a different interpretation of Happy... I think it is very close the the reference tracks... did you listen to those?
All the best Mr. Laplante (very french name btw)
