Dispatch vs. Regular Taxi

Post by ChipD » Wed Jan 09, 2013 10:39 am

Just curious...

Are the GENRES - and the proportion of listings per genre - requested in Dispatch similar to those in "regular Taxi?" Or do Dispatch listings tend to favor one or two particular genres?

I'd say since it's mainly based on film/TV requests, the more popular film/TV genres may dominate a bit more--- rock, pop, singer-songwriter, indie, folk. (That covers a lot of ground anyway, LOL)...

What you can do is contact Taxi and ask to be put on the Dispatch email list. You can do that without joining. Watch the Dispatch listings for a while. If you see a listing that you think you have music for, sign up then. The Dispatch membership fee is prorated according to where you are in your regular membership year. So if you join half way through your year, it would cost around $75, not the full $149.95...

:D Casey

PS I've also seen country and hip-hop requests on Dispatch.

Thanks, Casey. If rock and pop listings are in there, that's in my wheelhouse. I'll see about getting put on that list!
Thanks again!
