Does Taxi make money from deals?

Post by h2000 » Thu Nov 17, 2005 9:37 am

Someone mentioned this in another forum, and it surprised me a bit because the Taxi ads always mention how they never make any comissions in deals. Do they charge finders fees or something?Just curious.

No, once forwarded, Taxi's done with it.

Thanks for the replies. That's what I thought and that's basically what I told him.

I think the membership fee times the number of members equals a pretty decent operating budget....Plus submissions... I know it's only five per song, but that must add up...Good business...

As a matter of fact, Taxi doesn't even know whether you've gotten a deal after a forward unless you let them know...
