Thanks everyone. Chuck, I'll have to wait until this evening to listen, so, in the meantime I'm keeping good thoughts for breaking the Chuck/Mazz curse!!One thing about getting things to sound realistic that I'll keep harping on is "know thy library!". If your oboe sucks, don't use it, write the part for something else, even if you have to change the key or the part!! In this business, it's about sounding great as well as writing great and, sometimes, the sounds dictate the music, not the other way around. Until we all have the budget to write for real players, that's the reality.Cheers!!Mazz

Mazz I like both but I think Domestico is PERFECT for the listing. I'd be surprised if both aren't forwarded. (and yes, I admit I'm hooked on DH) -

Mazz,As I recall, we did break the curse. I'm hoping it wasn't just a one time fluke.BTW The new Kirk Hunter stuff sounds "Marvelous, darling" (Billy Crystal doing Ricardo Montalban) Great track. And to add to your advice: if you don't have a good oboe, go out and get one!!!Chuck

That is brilliant! It is so tongue in cheek, I would call it Sarcastico!!

It's really good, almost devious! I wanted to creep about the house in a sort of sneaky tango, watch out I'm crazy way... In fact I might.Nice work Mazz and thanks for sharing.Lindsey.
