Dramedy - would love your 2 Cents

Post by RogVox » Fri Feb 23, 2018 6:22 pm

Hi all. I'm relatively new to Taxi and the forum but finally diving in to ask for feedback. Silly I haven't before.

Recently I got 3 tunes returned for a Dramedy listing and although the screener liked a few aspects of the tunes they all had similar areas needing improvement which were basically:

1. Less frenetic, needs more legato passages.
2. More "focus", elements don't gel.
3. "Too many elements trying to take the lead"

In any case I shaved off bits and pieces and would love any thoughts you may have.

Here's one of the updated tunes:

Thanks for taking the time!

I'm certainly no expert on this genre. However, comparing yours to the forwards listed here http://blog.taxi.com/forward/013018/ I think that yours is much busier and more complex than the forwards listed. Hope that helps.

Thanks very much Tim. I appreciate the time and the forwards link is fantastic! Don't know how I missed that feature. Great tool.
