EMOTIONALLY POSITIVE INDIE POP SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed for an (up-to) $35,000, Direct-to-Ad-Agency placement in a National TV Commercial for a Health Insurance company. They’re searching for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs that could be found on a playlist with artists like (but not limited to) SafetySuit, Capital Cities, SAINT MOTEL, Empire Of The Sun, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references they gave us to get a general idea of what they’re looking for:

NOTE: The Ad Agency recently used “Looking Up” in a previous edit of the Commercial, and they really liked the uplifting sound, vibe, and style, but they’re NOT looking for clones or sound-alikes of that tune! Read that again, please; they are NOT looking for clones or sound-alikes!
Please send Indie Pop songs that are anthemic, infectious, inspiring, emotionally uplifting, and make listeners feel like life is awesome, grand, and just plain wonderful!
Having big group unison background vocals might add to your anthemic vibe, but that’s just our suggestion, and certainly not a requirement!
LYRIC Tip: The most IMPORTANT thing about this request is that the lyrics are positive, uplifting, and inspiring, but NOT cheesy. They would love to hear lyrics that touch on topics and/or keywords like: Giving Back, Happiness, Things are Great, I’m Feeling Great, Things Are Looking Up, Helping Someone, Unconditional Love, The Human Heart, Positive Attitude, and Positive Living.
Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for overall vibe and spirit. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).
The estimated license fee is between $10,000 - $35,000, depending on the ultimate placement. This is a Direct-to-Ad-Agency pitch. You’ll keep 100% ownership of the Copyright and Master Recording, but you won’t be able to license your Song for any other TV Commercials for the duration of the term of agreement, which will be determined by the Ad Agency and you (very standard, BTW). You must own or control the Master and Composition rights to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Songs as you’d like, online or per CD. All Submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI screener that’s been hand-picked by the Ad Agency. Short critiques only.
