Good day everybody.
If a listing reads "Era Appropriate Broadcast Quality is needed." what exactly does this mean?
Does the recording have to have a "tape/grainy" sonic sound?
If I want to submit something that has been programmed now and does not have a "tape sound", will this be accepted?
Please let me know your thoughts on this matter. Thanks.
Harold

Re: Era Appropriate Broadcast Quality is needed.
I would say : instruments , playing styles, production techniques
Whilst I wouldn't purposely degrade the audio I would be mindful of the overall sonic qualities of the era. Put a playlist together of the era and insert your own tune in the middle..see if it suddenly jumps out as being different or if it just sits in there.
