Hey Taxi family, new member here, very excited to be cranking out tunes on a deadline. I wanted to know that if a song were to be signed to an exclusive deal would that mean I couldn't release it as an artist myself? Thanks!
Example:
"This Library offers an EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 split. You’ll get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. They’ll get 50% of the sync fee and 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Composition to submit to this pitch."
Exclusive deals?

Re: Exclusive deals?
They want control of the master & thus you might not be able to release it independently, it would depend on the deal with that particular entity. You'd need to clarify if offered a deal (assuming your music is not already released.) You could call TAXI and ask as well.
