Feedback for S211206SP (Spaghetti Western)

Post by jhewitt79 » Thu Nov 25, 2021 9:37 am

Hi all,

I'm looking for some feedback. Do you think any of these three fit the listing?

Ballad of the Savage Gun
https://youtu.be/ExJcYIbi-Qc

Requiem for the Executioner
https://youtu.be/kDbgBSvJTy4

The Dream of Gold
https://youtu.be/ULAFPq3E7aQ

Thank you for your feedback!!

Jim

Wow, very nice work on these! I think they're all in the ballpark and worth submitting.

Hi Jim

I generally like the tracks and think the do fit the genre.
I am not 100% sure about the production.
Sometimes the percussion felt not organic enough, or a little out of place (ballad of The Savage Gun, 1:25 owards).
The strings in The Dream of Gold sound "too MIDI" in my ears. Maybe this is a mixing issue?

I assume because this is supposed to be a non-exclusive type of deal, it is not problem that they are already published by CDBaby.

Good luck!
Tom
Thanks, Tom. I hear what you're saying and I don't disagree with your comment about the production. And yeah the fact that CD Baby is involved shouldn't matter for this opportunity type.

Jim
