This is a kind of Chet Atkins type tune. I've made some changes to it since I originally asked for feedback.

Thanks,
Stu

Nice piece
A bit too loose for my ears
I'm not hearing/seeing any edit points, which without, will diminish your chances of placement greatly

Thank you, Robert. Question: When you say loose do you mean that you hear some timing issues or are you referring to the feel?
one of the listing specs is "bouncy feel". I was aiming for that.

Hi Stu

The basic idea for the listing works, but here are some critical points IMHO:

- the timing is way off, it's basically not grooving
- the drums sound a bit cheap (keep in mind libraries need stems with only drums and bs, so the drums need to sound decent)
- the track is too busy to be under a dialog (listen to the refs) Maybe a more boom-chack accompaniment from the guitar would clear it up.
- there are basically no edit points (at least every 8 bars an editor should be able to cut)
- sorry, the violin is a cool idea but on top of an already busy track an element that stands too much in the way of future dialog.
- The track is maybe too long? (the listing asks for about 2 min, 2.39 is definitely over the limit IMO)

Good Luck and Happy New Year

Chris

I've shortened it and cleaned it up. Any feedback on the new version would be much appreciated.
