OK, any other serious feedback? I've been updating it every day and think it's pretty much where I want it now. Point taken that it needs photo(s) of me.

As a non-artist, I didn't put a traditional bio on it, mainly just credits. Does anyone really care if I played the tonette in 3rd grade? Learned to play guitar like the Monkees as a teenager? My approach is get to the meat-- credits and songs. But your thoughts are very welcome.

:D Casey

Your opening line confuses me. I would simplify it.

Charles P. Hurowitz (a.k.a. Casey Hurowitz) is a non-performing songwriter who writes songs and instrumental writer for Film/TV

Casey Hurowitz is a song and instrumental writer for Film and TV.

Doesn't need all the other caveats

But I like caveats! :D
Seriously, appreciate the feedback, Mark, but I'm cool with "non-performing" in there, at least for now. I like (for better or worse) to differentiate myself from true singer-songwriters and artists since I don't play or sing on my songs.

I just think it might put people off and it's a distinction which doesn't need to be made. Don't tell people what you can't do . Tell 'em what you can do.

A Singer-songwriter would just call themselves a Singer-songwriter ..they wouldln't put " non-studio savvy Singer Song-writer " if for example they didn't do their own production.

Since there isnt a whole lot of content I think it might work better in “single page” layout where each section isnt its own page but an anchor instead accessed by a navigation panel.

If the focus is the music rather than yourself, I think it makes more sense to have the playlist “above the fold”. This doesnt mean a headshot shouldnt be beside the playlist as well. But it just makes the experience more fluid without having to go from page to page.

By the way, this isnt wordpress? Are you handcoding HTML for this???

FWIW - I like and agree with the 2 previous comments & suggestions...
make it as simple and easy to navigate as possible - directly to your product: THE SONGS & MUSIC.
The more immediate, the better, IMHO.

If you demonstrate respect for others' time, they're more likely to hang out with 'you' on your website.
