Great track, Peter and Andre! I am less concerned than Casey about pinpointing location, as it feels exotic enough for a travel show, while relaxed and with a hint of melancholy.
The only thing I would reconsider is the end, which simply seems to fade out (or am I getting this wrong?).
Tom
The cymbal wash at the end to a soft fade is still in this worktape mix; and may or may not remain for the final.
Since it's not currently aimed at any listing or specific target - it is what it is...
being that it was birthed as a live improv piece, by its CREATOR - in the moment.

Thanks for the ears & comment.

Still in development, a work-in-progress: went back to an earlier mix:

Original improv composition for guitar by Andre Stepanian -
"Night Sessions 4" on his YouTube channel.
Embellishments by these artists: (live players; no synths!)
bass: Steve Peavey
percussion: Alexander Fox
duduk: Ilia Mazia (airgigs.com)
mandolin & cymbal swells: Peter Rahill

Just a few peanuts from my corner of the auditorium...
It sounds less 'world' music and more like a Windham Hill/New age vibe.
re: the fade at the end, let each instrument speak its last and then cut out, then ring out on a final flourish of Andre's guitar. Similar effect, not so noticeably 'fading'.
