Just one person's opinion - if you're considering yourself a NEWBIE to TAXI - "go with your strengths" starting out.
Look for those listings that ask for stuff you like, and are good at.
This piece sounds 'top-notch'... and the fact that you got a Forward with it, is good confirmation.
Others who've had success with a particular genre have suggested "...do 10 of these" and be ready to offer them
if/when
1) you get contacted and a placement; or
2) more listings similar come up from other TAXI clients looking for that.

HTH; Congrats.

Well done on the forward - It definitley sounds Trip Hop - ish..maybe Emotional Trap ...Lounge wouldn't be the first thing that sprange to mind ? But just be guided by the reference tracks rather than labels as thinigs change all the time.

It sounds really well produced, I'm a bit confused though with all this vocal pack stuff mentioned in the title of your Youtube video ? Am I right in thinking you wrote the lyrics and melody , put them in a sample pack ( as accapellas ? ) and then what happens ? Where does FL Studio come into the equation ? I've never used it so I'm not clear ? Does this mean that anyone who uses FL studio has access to your vocals ? And the version on Youtube was the result of an FL Studio user producing something from your pack ?

The end result sounds really good but I'm slightly worried things might get complicated for you when it comes to signing a deal as most Libraries don't allow you to use easily identifiable material from sample packs etc. It can cause massive issues for them if somebody else has used them also. Also if someone else worked on it you need to have worked out either a PRO split with them or have a signed Work For Hire agreement and also be sure that they haven't used any other sample packs either.

You may of already worked all this out in which case ignore me but if you're new to Sync you may not know so just worth a heads up.

Mark
