I believe I'm ready to send this one off. Any final comments? (I deep-sixed the old "outdoor" reverb, plus a number of other changes as well)

Lots of DRUMLINE INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed for Sports Programming by a NEW International Music Licensing Company started by highly experienced, successful founders.
TAXI TIP: This Library is BRAND NEW to requesting music through TAXI, so chances are you don’t have any material in their catalog yet! This company is all about "new, fresh music," so this is a great opportunity to get in first and create a new outlet for your music and begin a new relationship with an awesome new company!
This Company is searching for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals and/or Instrumental Cues in the general ballpark of these references:
Dynasty Drumline - Samba De Rolls Variations
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQ-P0w7rGTE
Drumline Final Battle (0:00 - 0: 56)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pewITE1550
The Best Drum Marching Band
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZwVoNUvaAE
Quoting the Company: "We are looking for greatly produced tracks with excellent performances that are representing the style and genre very well, while still staying within 'production music' rules. We are looking for music in a range of moods such as: energizing, emotional, inspiring, fun, and adventurous."
Please submit top-notch Instrumentals that feature percussive Drumline instruments as their only instrumentation. Excellent musicianship and rhythmically engaging arrangements are essential for this pitch. Be sure that your production is polished and any virtual drum/percussion samples you use are high-quality and modern – nothing low-quality or dated will work for this pitch. If you have tracks that could get an athlete excited for game day, this Library wants to hear them!
TAXI Tip: Simpler is almost always better for pitches like this! Don't try to win "Percussionist of the Year" by submitting complex rhythms or too many instruments. Simple but infectious is the goal!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This Company offers an Exclusive deal, and has a strong preference for signing material from songwriters who have worked for libraries and licensing companies in the past and understand how standard deals work. If you don't have that experience and you don't know the drill on typical deals, they politely ask that you don't submit to this request.
All submissions should be at least 1:45 minutes long and no longer than 2:45 minutes, with non-faded, buttoned endings. Do NOT copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.
This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal. You’ll split any upfront sync fees 50/50. They’ll get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Copyright. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. Please submit as many Instrumentals and/or Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PST) on Sunday, January 30th, 2022. TAXI # S220130DR

Re: Flags Up! (final remake, drumline)
Not sure what to attribute that to. I'll do some checking. Thanks!CTWF wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 5:16 pmHey Johnjohndalenow wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 7:42 pmI believe I'm ready to send this one off. Any final comments? (I deep-sixed the old "outdoor" reverb, plus a number of other changes as well)
Maybe it is just me, but the mix sounds as if the whole track was under a blanket. Just a little weird.
If I had to venture a guess, it really sounds as if a lot of high frequencies are either outright cut (low-pass?) or get lost in multi-band compression.

Two other producers, who I got listening and commented to me (but not on here), wrote that they think the drums sounded "dead", that it sounded like all instruments were "super stereo narrow", and that the track had "no shimmer".
Maybe that helps? It's strange, because given this is Spitfire stuff, it should sound good if played straight out of the box, with, say, a tiny bit of compression and a limiter.

I cannot compare it to the original anymore, but I would say that the drums should still come more forward and be brighter. More in your face.
