Hi,
4 forwards for my song in 5 months, but no one has contacted me yet. Isn't that strange? what do you think?
Thank you in advance

Re: forward 4 times to one song
Hi there
If you look at the previous posts in the forward section you see that one song of mine was forwarded six times within a year! Nobody picked it up yet. As I understand the game from having contact with Libraries they run listings with Taxi and ask also composers already affiliated with the company to submit directly. So there's quite a stiff competition out there!
There are millions of reasons though why a track is not taken in consideration from a publisher:
- they have too much material already
- the track is too similar to one they have already
- the mood is jus' a bit off target for their liking
- too slow
- too fast
- too much of this
- too little of that
- etc.
It's a marathon and a good track will be picked up eventually even it's after years. Just keep on writing and submitting!
Good Luck
Chris

Not uncommon at all as Chris said. But if it was forwarded 4 times, it must be a darn good one so keep doing what you are doing!

Re: forward 4 times to one song
I got my first reaction from a library after 15 forwards (different tracks) but it turned out good.Ladytheone wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 10:52 amHi,
