CONTEMPORARY, 1980s-Style, NEW ROMANTIC SYNTH POP INSTRUMENTALS are needed U-R-G-E-N-T-L-Y by a busy, NON-Exclusive Music Library for an (up to) $250 placement in an Independent Feature Film. They’re looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs that you’d expect to hear on a playlists with (but not limited to) these references:
“Imagination” by Miami Horror: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0qfueY5tXA
“In For The Kill” by La Roux: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXtATeQ7GKg
“Not In Love” by Crystal Castles ft. Robert Smith of The Cure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32udqal_lyQ
Please submit well-crafted, current sounding Synth Pop Instrumentals that are rhythmically and melodically interesting and have a clear 1980’s influence. Your submissions should have great melodies, infectious grooves and cool sounding ear candy throughout. Your production can contain live and/or electronic instrumentation, as long as it has the ‘80’s appeal that the referenced acts have.
TAXI Tip: This company is not looking for vintage ‘80’s-sounding Synth/Pop or anything that sounds too dated, so please make sure your submissions feel fresh and contemporary, but with some ‘80’s influence.
All submissions should be about 2:00 minutes long, give or take, with non-faded, buttoned endings. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).
The estimated license fee for this use is (up to) $250, depending on the ultimate placement. This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 deal. You’ll split any applicable sync fees 50/50. You’ll get 100% of the Master rights and Writer’s share, and the Library will get 100% of the Publishing for any placements they generate. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you'd like online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018. TAXI #U180228NW

Sounds great! Congratulations. If your really into this sound check out a DJ named "Initial Talk" who does 80s remixes of Current Top 40 songs. Very hip stuff.

Right off the 80's catwalk! Nice job AJ.

Hi Susan - thanks for the listen! Haven't used Epica, but will check it out. I used a few different synths on this one including Syleth1, Iris2, and VacuumProSusanstunes wrote:Got me Movin'! Do you use Epica by any chance for some of your synths? Good job!
