Forward for Emotional Piano listing S221206EM
Hi all -
Just got a forward for a solo piano track that I'm really proud of: Look Forward
Lesson learned: the 30- and 60-second cutdowns requested in the listing are much harder with a rubato track like this. I hope I get the call to use them. Writing to click with a cutdown-friendly BPM would be quicker, but more restrictive emotionally IMHO.
Thanks for reading and/or listening.
Robert

And, yeah - while a steady and unchanging bpm is often the 'norm', and/or nearly necessary when importing remotely-recorded instruments
to align for mixes - I heartily agree that it can be too restrictive, and works against getting the emotion and mood.

Re: Forward for Emotional Piano listing S221206EM
beautiful piece, and nicely played.
I would have personally try to re-write the 30 or 60s versions of it rather than trying to cut/edit the music, having a slightly slower/faster rubato, and keeping the original feel of it.
In all cases, congrats on the forward and the deal!
