FORWARD for HIGH-ENERGY ELECTRONIC DANCE SONGS

Post by ChazAldi » Thu Jul 12, 2018 5:35 am

The listing:

HIGH-ENERGY ELECTRONIC DANCE SONGS (aka EDM) with Male or Female Vocals or “INSTRUMENTALS” are needed for several $2,500, Direct-to-Music Supervisor, NON-Exclusive placements in a Video Game by a AAA Video Game Developer. They’re looking for Up-Tempo Songs or Instrumentals in the general stylistic ballpark of artists like (but not limited to), Avicii, Al Sharif, Afrojack, ANG & Dirty Ducks, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references we got from the Music Supervisor: “I Could Be The One” by Avicii, Nicky Romero: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bek1y2uiQGA “Frequency” by Al Sharif, Henry Carlin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5t8pZkWO_8 “Keep Our Love Alive” by Afrojack, Matthew Koma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTMjCS0Qv2g “Let The Music” by ANG & Dirty Ducks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X_RWQQbTzY NOTE: This game has several radio and source music channels that are user selectable. Five or more original tracks are needed for each channel/genre. No Covers or Remixes Please! Original music only. This Music Supervisor needs exciting and uplifting EDM Songs/Tracks that could be heard in any dance club or dance music festival around the world. Your submission should have infectious beats, strong melodies, and tons of hooks and ear candy sprinkled in. Be sure your vocals are confident and well performed from top to bottom! NOTE: They’re primarily looking for songs, but an awesome, high-energy “Instrumental” with minimal, sparse lyrics that’s not in the traditional song structure could work as well! Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed. The estimated license fee for each of these placements is $2,500. These are Direct-to-Music Supervisor placements, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights, plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee. Note: Video Games don’t pay performance royalties, but there are times when the songs used in the games are used in films, soundtracks, etc., and could generate performance royalties. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by the Music Supervisor himself (time permitting), or a Screener selected by the Supervisor if his schedule gets too busy - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM

Comments from screener #325: "Cool track Charlie"

The production and mix on this track is impressive - the span and spectrum and sound-projection sound really high-bar, to these Old-Guy ears.
I envisioned my 7-year old great-nephew doing his version of the dance - "The Floss" - to this -  - so I sent him the SC link.
Congrats & good luck with multiple placements; fun track, indeed.
