WOW! That is an amazing track! How did you make those drums sound so full and deep? Like.. they sounded kind of tribal... did they come from any specific sample set? Congrats on this fantastic work. If this doesn't get placed, I'll be very surprised.

Thank you so very much Andre! I do use a mix of orchestral libraries, layering ensemble patches (at times) with solo instruments. I mix the LASS (first edition I guess if memory serves well), with some 8dios, and some spitfire, for 'solo' instruments, and some spitfire and sonuscore for ensembles. I have yet to find an interesting solo violin patch, as I struggle a lot to make it sound realistic.

I use a lot of layers, and try to distribute the weight of the frequencies as much as I can. Like having a bass heavy hit on the downbeat, while my low brass are swelling up instead of hitting hard with the hit, makes the hit pokes a little bit more.. a sort of an organic side chain ducking
