Hello awesome people,
5 weeks ago I had to compose a track for a gig. In the end, the client didn't like it and chosed someone else's song. Ok...
2 weeks later (june 9th) Taxi offered an opportunity through this listing (below) and I submitted the exact same track.
About 1 week later the track was forwarded.
Today the publisher just sent me the paperwork (and seems in a hurry to forward the music to 2 reality shows).
Holly sh... !
That feels good !
Have a beautiful day ! - Phil

EMOTIONALLY UPLIFTING ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a successful Music Licensing Company that’s pitching directly to a very popular competition-based Reality show on a Major Network. This awesome company just recently started running Listings with TAXI, so chances are you don’t have any material in their catalog yet! They’re looking for fresh, Mid-To-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues that could fit in the stylistic wheelhouse of the following references: “Where The Streets Have No Name” by U2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FsrPEUt2Dg “Invincible” by Lemar:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJz5vuaBb14 “Kings and Queens” by 30 Seconds To Mars
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j73g8JMHOA Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this pitch. Give them well-crafted Instrumental Cues that have all the positive appeal of the references above, with authentic sounding Rock Band instrumentation, infectiously uplifting melodies and rockin’ rhythm sections. Build your Cues around a central melodic theme, while adding and removing layers of instruments as your piece progresses to create forward momentum and dynamics. Having a developmental “arc” that builds as the piece moves forward is a really good idea! TAXI Tip: Please avoid using any Instruments that sound stiff or obviously quantized and MIDI-driven. Instrumental Cues that sound like a real Rock band will have a better chance of nailing this request, than a submission that sounds like a one-man band/home studio project.

Hi Phil, that's great track full of energising optimism, so I look forward to hearing it on TV anytime soon.
Congratulations!
Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.
