Foward/ORCHESTRAL CHASE SCENE CUE

Post by minoruchan » Tue Aug 04, 2015 6:14 pm

My song, Finalist was fowarded for the listing. :D :D :D

https://soundcloud.com/minoru-amino/finalist

ORCHESTRAL CHASE SCENE CUES are needed by a Music Licensing Company that gets tons of placements in TV Shows, Films, and Movie Trailers. They’re looking for a wide range of Cues in the ballpark of what you’d hear from composers like Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Patrick Doyle, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references to an idea of the range this company will find appealing: “Mombasa Chase” by Hans Zimmer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rS6HKhTgXRg “The Harvester Returns” by Danny Elfman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxxRGF1H2pI “Moscow Car Chase” by Patrick Doyle (starting at 1:42): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzJ5sOD4pmY Give them Mid-to-Up Tempo Instrumental Cues that range from pulsing, tension-building Rhythmic Cues with Orchestral elements all the way up to big, full-blown Orchestral Cues. Imagine what you’d hear in a tongue-in-cheek TV commercial with a house cat being chased across a kitchen floor by a vacuum cleaner, to a cheetah chasing down its dinner on the plains of Africa, to a classic, action-packed Terminator-type chase scene. Pulse-quickening rhythms, combined with inspired yet relatively simple melodic motifs, and builds that lead to a big, climactic ending should do the trick! Great sounding virtual instruments that will make listeners with even the most discerning ears think they’re hearing the real thing are needed. Killer string and horn sounds are a must. Great sounding drums and percussion are also needed. Orchestral Hybrid Cues with some electronic elements could work, but please make sure your synths sound really impressive. No cheap, dated-sounding synths for this pitch! Your Cues should be at least 2 minutes in length. Easy edit points and buttoned/stinger endings are strongly encouraged. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please, do NOT copy or rip off the music in the referenced instrumentals or composers in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for feel, texture, and tone. This Company offers both EXCLUSIVE and NON-EXCLUSIVE deals. The specific deal points will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. If you’re inclined to do an Exclusive deal, please don’t submit material for this pitch that’s already signed with any other libraries or publishers. You must own or control your Master and Composition to submit to this opportunity. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Friday, June 26th.
