Ohhhhhhhhh.... Gotcha

So would this be considered just pop? For some reason I picture pop as being a faster tempo. So I thought a ballad would be pop at a slower tempo. This is my problem I can never get the genres right

Sorry that wasn't more helpful towards you deciding and dialing in where your song best 'fits'.
