Nice track Heidi! Absolutely 80s. Its really satisfying every time that chorus kicks in, and I like the hold-backs in the final section too. Above all though, what a great voice! I hope you hear from the library, but even if you don't this time I have no doubt you can find a home for the track with anyone needing good retro pop. Best of luck to you.

Hey Heidi! Your music is fantastic - all of the songs on your page sound top-notch and have great hooks. Let me know if you'd be open to some collaboration, while I mostly do rock-ish songs, I have a fairly developed idea for a song to pitch to the Christmas/Holiday listing and I believe your voice could be perfect for it.
