Gospel Forwards

Post by mrdtman » Sat Sep 29, 2018 11:09 am

Saw the listing and realized I had some tunes in the vault that might fit criteria. Submitted 5, 3 were chosen. The material was from a release from when I was the music director for the youth dept at the church I was attending at that time. They are on my TAXI homepage if you want to check them out. Titles:
O Most High, Sing A Song, & Bow Down.

ORIGINAL, RELIGIOUS SONGS of ANY DENOMINATION, and in any TEMPO and LANGUAGE, that were recorded BEFORE the year 2001 are needed by an extremely successful Publisher of Period Music for Film and TV Licensing. NOTE: We purposely passed on putting references in this request, as they could potentially be more misleading or limiting than helpful. It really just boils down to this: They’re looking for Vintage Recordings of Religious Songs from ANY DENOMINATION and performed in ANY LANGUAGE, but recorded BEFORE 2001 – period! The recording quality is not expected to be on par with today’s broadcast quality! Many TAXI members have been signed by this publisher with nothing more than good demo recordings! They’re much more interested in finding music that sounds authentic to the time period! This company often averages several placements per week, and many of those are TAXI members who’ve been signed with this company because they submitted to a listing like this! Dozens of TAXI members have signed buyout deals with this company, and several have even received up front checks for $10,000 - $15,000 (or more!) Deal sizes and buyout amounts vary depending on the quantity and quality of the songs signed by the Publisher. They DO NOT want material that was recently recorded and made to sound old. They can only use AUTHENTIC, ORIGINAL, VINTAGE RECORDINGS. As long as the sound quality is reasonably good, then this is a golden opportunity to make money with music you might have thought had no hope in today’s market!

Congrats! I submitted 3 and they all got returns because I didn't say "Jesus" enough in my songs! (Even though all the top-selling Christian artists of the mid to late 90s didn't either...) Oh well! :D :D :D

Peace,
Kerry
