Update- Received a contract!!!Got 3 Vocal songs past the Indie Rock gatekeeper
“Update”
Well that was quick!!
Just received a contract for all 3 songs forwarded! I did further research and it’s a very strong NYC publisher with world-wide distribution right in the advertising lane I want to be in. Thanks Michael!!
“Original post”
Had 3 out of 4 forwarded for this listing. Guess I'll see what happens!.
here are the submissions that were forwarded-
https://soundcloud.com/jp-pearson-1/i-w ... ll/s-S8uDZ
https://soundcloud.com/jp-pearson-1/i-want-more/s-xZ089

INDIE ROCK SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by a hard-working, high-quality Production Music Library that’s had numerous successful placements with TAXI Members’ music. They’re on the hunt for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:
“I Can't Quit” by The Vaccines
“List of Demands (Reparations)” by The Kills
“Exits” by FOALS
Please submit current-sounding Songs in the general ballpark of the style of the references above. Your submissions should have solid vocal performances, stand out melodies, and compelling choruses. Adding some electronic elements can work, but you’d be wise to keep them at a minimum so they don’t take away from the Indie Rock vibe. Having a distinctive Indie vocal sound could also help you stand out for this pitch.

Go your own way! Out of necessity, drive, gumption, whatever.. don't let anyone tell you you can't!
It's not what goes into your music that's important, it's what comes out the speakers
