Hi John,

No ...Like Mark said..... no patch will make it sound authentic
I have EW Ministry of Rock..... it will not be good enough....in my opinion.

It would be best to find a band or some players to play the track for you and pay them …. or split the sync and royalties..... if it is used.

For some orchestral tracks... I have hired musicians to play some parts.... it really helps the whole thing sound real.
Also , I have never had a track returned.... or not used by a library or show, when I hired someone to play a real violin or flute or other instrument that is hard to get a good midi sound......

My 4 cents,
Tim
Tim,

As you had suggested, I bought a guitar and did my best to play over top of the lead. (I'm certainly not a guitar player) Please let me know what ya think along with any other suggestions for continuing to improve this and making it a winner!

I'm responding to the track where you played git over the top of the lead.

-Good composition overall, has the vibe and feel of a surf track.
- Drums sound very sampled, why don't you start with a set of loops from a source like Beta Monkey. In addition to having believable sounds, they'll bring the energy of a live drum performance to your tracks.
- The git that you layered sounds like it went direct to the interface, no real amp or amp simulator. Very chirpy and DI. Lots of free plugs to help sweeten that up

Keep after it, and best of luck!
Erich

Hi John,

I will have to agree with Erich,

You have a great idea!!! ..... but the sounds need some work.
Getting a good guitar sound can be tough...as Erich said... there a lot og pretty good guitar amp plugins that will help.

Keep going !!!!
